About Us

Who are we?

Hi! We’re Rob and Sarah and we have a slight obsession with the islands. OK, that’s not entirely honest. We have an extreme obsession, and it’s primarily with the island of St. John in the USVI. From our first visit we fell in love with the natural beauty of the land and the stunning views and wildlife of the surrounding water. We had found our paradise.

So naturally, that is where we decided to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary with an epic trip in September of 2017. Epic does not begin to describe our experience with Hurricane Irma. And it was that experience that made us realize we don’t just love the island, we love its people.

We get down there whenever we can, but the reality of living 1,500 miles away in Richmond, VA is that it’s not nearly enough. So to keep St. John on our minds and cope with not being there, we started making ourselves some art pieces out of resin. It became a fun hobby and we started making pieces for our friends with connections to other islands. It spiraled from there and now we make art, coasters, and ornaments themed to various tropical locales.

The goal is the same now as it was when it all started: making treasures that help people remember their favorite places.
